We at PortPrep have launched a video blog contest called Beating the Odds. This contest is aimed towards helping students striving to become an art or design major learn what needs to be done to get accepted by their program of choice.
There are high school students who have applied and submitted the correct requirements to different art and design programs, only to receive a rejection letter from the program, without any rhyme and reason.
It’s not fair, it’s not right, and something needs to be done about it.
Which is why we want current and former students of art and design programs to share their experiences on how they got into the program and what they did to get into art and design school in video format!
In exchange for submitting an entry to us, you will automatically receive a 30-minute consultation with PortPrep owner and seasoned art instructor Karen Kesteloot of your art portfolio PLUS a chance to win 2 months worth of six 2-hour sessions with Ms. Kesteloot.
Click here to view the complete details about the contest and guidelines for entry. Deadline of entries will be on July 4, 2013.
You may be wondering…Who is Karen Kesteloot? And why should I trust her to teach me art? Click on the next page to find out!
