Enjoy your youth class.
How will the course work? What materials will I need? All you’ll need is a computer, tablet, or smart phone, a scanner or scanning app for your smart phone and some tradition drawing supplies.
You will receive weekly tutorial videos as well as having a 2 hour live stream class with your instructor in which you will follow along with the demonstrations and work on your drawings during the sessions and receive input your your drawings both during the session and in the following week’s session.
You will send in your work via emailed scans and photos for input from the instructor prior to class beginning.
You will receive detailed description of the full course via email when you register and each week of the course to keep you on track.
Location: Online using a secure private zoom meeting room. Students will receive a link to the meetings and a password to the sessions and videos.
Materials:
Sketch book or pad of drawing paper any size but recommend 9” x 12” ( 8.5” x 11” print paper is fine too) Or you can use a drawing tablet like an iPad, Samsung or Wacom tablet if you prefer.
H, 2H, B, 2B or HB art pencils (just one of these is fine; this is not critical at this stage of drawing)
Fine liner Ink Pen (0.5 or 0.7. Other sizes ok, but we recommend either of these sizes).
Eraser
Pencil sharpener.
Ruler.
Computer with Webcam, tablet or smart phone
Scanner or scanning app or smart phone with high resolution camera.
Email of either your own or your parents’
Sign up for Discord and connect with your instructor’s handle.
Optional Materials:
Tracing paper or visualizing bond or translucent marker paper.
Colerase or other erasable coloured drawing pencils (light blue, light green, orange, red, dark blue) (optional)
Brush pen of your choice (optional)
